"Sonnets on Love, Rosebuds, and Death" is a set of eight settings of by Dorothy Rudd Moore on the texts of black poets for high voice, violin, piano. It was premiered in 1976 by pianists Warren Wilson and Kelley Wyatt, violinist Sanford Allen, and soprano Miriam Burton, who the set is dedicated to.
