O Love is the Crooked Thing

Composed by David Leisner

Song Collection

Note from the composer: "Written in 1980, originally for medium voice and guitar, O Love is the Crooked Thing was arranged for piano in 1986 and later revised in 2010. I much prefer the version for piano and have discarded the original for guitar." The audio selections feature William Alvarado, baritone, and Kate Bowen, piano. The recordings are from a live performance in Boston, 1998. Used with the permission of the composer.
