William Bolcom's Laura Sonnets is a song cycle for baritone and piano setting five sonnets by Petrarch. The work was premiered by Thomas Hampson, baritone, and Craig Rutenberg, piano, at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA) on February 18, 2011. The audio recording of "Sonetto 286" is made possible through a collaboration between the Hampsong Foundation and SongFest. The performers are Lorant Najbauer, baritone, and Kwok-Wai Lui, piano, and the performance took place at SongFest 2012 at The Colburn School.
