In the Platinum Forest

In the platinum forest walked a white maiden
Slow white tones rose from her throat.
I saw them twist and curl.
She moved among the trees and called.

Where the valleys of electric wires are,
Where the forest white brooks are,
Where the wood white shadows are,
Where the water white skies are,
Where the long white days are.

There I saw her slip between the trees and vanish
While a tone still floated in the air.
