Donald Wheelock
A professor at Smith College since 1974, Donald Wheelock has composed more than eleven song cycles, as well as several instrumental works. His song "Fury" was part of the AIDS Quilt Songbook project.
About
Donald Wheelock studied at Union College and Yale University. He has received the Guggenheim Fellowship twice and is often invited to the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire.
He has set the words of Frederick Busch, Susan Snively, Richard Wilbur, and W. B. Yeats, among other writers.
