About
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Annie Dillard studied at Hollins College (Virginia) and has taught at Wesleyan University. She was a scholar-in-residence at Western Washington University from 1975 to 1979.
Dillard won the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction for her book Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. She has won countless awards for her writing.
