About

Tom Cipullo studied at Hofstra University and Boston University, under the direction of David Del Tredici, Elie Siegmeister, and Albert Tepper. He founded the organization Friends & Enemies of New Music.

Cipullo’s first opera, Glory Denied, premiered in 2006. The opera is about “America during the Vietnam War, based on the true story of Colonel Jim Thompson, America’s longest-held prisoner of war.”
