About

Aldrich, a native New Englander, wrote novels and poetry. He also worked as the editor of New York Illustrated News, the Every Saturday (of Boston), and Atlantic Monthly. His many volumes of poetry were successful, known chiefly for his mastery of form and the light touch found in his verses.
